Mobilizing God's People to Reach the Nations!

"You will do well to send them on in a manner worthy of God; for they began their journey for the sake of Christ ... Therefore we ought to support such people, so that we may become co-workers with the truth." 3 John 6-7 (NRSV)

Our Passion

We are determined to give our lives daily to further God's mission to reach the never reached. We pray that our lives would fully embody the words of William Carey, "To belong to Jesus is to embrace the nations with Him."

Visual Storytellers: Igniting Hearts Through Visual Media

By Frank Johnson on July 31, 2024 Leave a Comment

During Jesus’ ministry in Galilee — a small, but densely populated region — he often encountered crowds of people searching for a shepherd who would guide them and feed them. There is also a crowd today — over 3 billion people who have not had an opportunity to hear the gospel of Jesus nor experience his love. How can this crowd be made visible to God’s people so they will be spurred to action on behalf of the unreached? Joshua Chew — through Ablaze Media Productions — serves the worldwide church by documenting the plight of the unreached and making the crowd visible to the church, and by equipping others to do the same.

Answering God With “I’m Not …”

By Frank Johnson on March 19, 2023 Leave a Comment

When Marilyn Owusu-Sekyere first heard God tell her that he would send her to a people enslaved by sin, she responded with “I’m not …”: “I’m not a man,” “I’m not married,” “I’m not white.” She thought that all missionaries were men, married, and white because she had never seen someone like her — a single, African American woman — come to her church as a missionary. She didn’t think she was capable or worthy of doing this “crazy thing” God had put on her heart. Three years and ten short-term missions trips later, she embraced God’s purposes for her life and His call to minister to the youth and children of West Africa.

Is Côte d’Ivoire the Ephesus of West Africa?

By Frank Johnson on July 10, 2022 Leave a Comment

The nation of Côte d’Ivoire in West Africa may be similar to first-century Ephesus in its strategic role for reaching surrounding regions with the gospel. With the strategic potential of Côte d’Ivoire, Kevin and Moriah Thompson are currently strategizing to combine their history of dramatic conversions to Christ, training they have received and will continue to receive at the Daloa Basecamp, and tabernacle evangelism to reach the northern regions of Côte d’Ivoire – with a goal of facilitating outreach throughout West Africa.

Say “Hello” and Shatter a Worldview

By Frank Johnson on December 31, 2021 Leave a Comment

Around the world today, there are countless Muslim women living in shame and despair. Their worldview tells them that no one sees them. Just like the Samaritan woman at the well, these Muslim women of today are thirsting for the honor and dignity that only Jesus gives. And they are poised to tell their Islamic community about Jesus, the Savior who knows their deepest needs. Ryan and Lauren Plute are investing their lives to train Christian women to reach their Muslim counterparts through Christ-pointing friendships.

What Does It Mean to Join a Missionary Team?

There are four basic ways to join a missionary team and participate in God's story of restoring the nations to Himself:

GO: You can physically join a missionary team "on the ground" in their geographical area of service. This can be in the form of a short-term trip (1-4 weeks), a longer stay (1-3 years), or a career commitment.

PRAY: You can subscribe to the missionary team's email or print newsletter, follow them in social media channels, join their private Facebook group, etc. and commit to praying for them and the needs they share on a regular basis.

GIVE: You can financially support the missionary team or their organization (either through cash gifts and/or monthly commitments).

SUPPORT: You can provide logistical support to the missionary team in the form of administrative help, website development, social media channel maintenance, newsletter processing, and a host of other tasks and projects - anything that will allow the missionary team to devote more time to their primary calling.

As you consider how the Lord would have you join missionary teams, please join us in our Daily Declaration!

Our Daily Declaration

Lord Jesus,

This day, we cast our souls upon Your sacrifice as our only hope for purpose, meaning, and fulfillment here on earth and for life in the age to come.

This day, we swear allegiance to You, our King.

This day, we pray that You would set our hearts aflame for Your cause and for the over 3 billion people in this world who have yet to hear Your name.

We long for the day that we will stand before Your throne, surrounded by the most diverse community ever formed — from every tribe, every tongue, every people, and every nation — those whom You have purchased with Your blood — as we cry out together “Worthy is the Lamb!”

Until that day, we commit ourselves to loving our brothers and sisters in Christ — no matter what their people group, no matter what their language, no matter what their race, no matter where they are from — and to living in community with them — that the world may know that the Father loves them and that He sent You to save them.

This day, we devote our lives — our time, our money, our passion, our mind, our strength, our everything — to see Your gospel proclaimed in every corner of this world.

And we thank You for the astounding privilege of playing a small part in carrying Your name to the nations!
