In a paper written for the 2004 Forum for World Evangelization, convened between September 29 and October 5, 2004 in Pattaya, Thailand by the Lausanne Committee for World Evangelization, the Issue Group on Reaching Jewish People with the Gospel provided an excellent 55-page summary of God’s covenant with the Jewish people and His mandate for Jewish evangelism, the status of Jewish believers in Jesus in the world, how Messianic Jews see themselves and various issues which exist within the Messianic community, challenges to the proclamation of the gospel to the Jewish people, and a variety of case studies regarding current practices in the field of Jewish evangelism. Canada is a country in the northern part of North America. Its ten provinces and three territories extend from the Atlantic to the Pacific and northward into the Arctic Ocean, covering 9.98 million square kilometres (3.85 million square miles), making it the world's second-largest country by total area. As a whole, Canada is sparsely populated, the majority of its land area being dominated by forest and tundra. Its population is highly urbanized, with over 80 per cent of its inhabitants concentrated in large and medium-sized cities, and 70 per cent residing within 100 kilometres (62 mi) of the southern border.
